Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't been on here for a while now, reason is that I'm just very busy with work so I don't have the time to go on here, I didn't even have the time to install my HC 2 that is sitting in my garage for 4 months :wow:

I have a bit more time during the Xmas holliday break now so I'm about to install my HC2.

My question is: can I use synthetic or semi-synthetic engine oil for the cam break in ?
Because the Hotcam instructions says to not use synthetic oil for the cam break in but petrol based oil...

Yeah, because I was surprised when I read that "synthetic oil don't allow a proper break in of the cam". But what oil do people use when they install hotcams in their 450 mx bikes then ?

Oh thanks, it was written in the instructions that comes with the cam but they are the same for all the hotcams so I didn't know...

Thanks ! I'm gonna get some full synthetic as usual then.
