I just bought a 2007 350 Raptor
and have noticed a small crack in the stator cover
and engine oil is leaking out, stator dont run in oil do they ???:confused:
this cant be right!!!!!:(
please help

Hee haw

I am a complete donkey
this is my first foray into four wheels
i have been racing enduro bikes for 6 years
but im getting too beat up and crashing a lot
so when this o7 raptor came up at the right price i thought hell why not
i have a lot to learn

If the leak is from a crack, and the crack isn't structural, clean and roughen the area and try JB weld to seal the crack (not between the case and the cover though).

Well now is the time to take your donkey suit off and get the bike fixed, use JB weld as described before and turn your bike on its side so the stator cover is higher then the engine, wash the cover with brake cleaner and allow to dry, then apply JB weld and allow to harden...........Then drive the bike............

Need Help

New at this forum I am from Puerto Rico and I bouth a Raptor 350 the problem was that the chain came off and broke the front chain guard where the sproket is and it maked a hole. Do I have to take the engine off for weld it or I can simpply use JB Weld. Please help and sorry for the bad English.

if you can clean it up good delo 07 and its just cracked you shouldnt have to take engine out or apart good luck let use know how it works for ya and if you need anymore help

Donkey Here
got another stator cover from fleabay, so thats that problem sorted
now for a service and tune up and i'm away
several practise tracks around and then racing this summer
i'll keep you all posted
