In a separate thread there was a discussion about putting a better connector to the TPS yellow wire when using a PCIII.
I agree, but where can I find such a connector (Radio Shack does not have them)?

What is that connector called (piggyback connector?).

TIA

The best connector for any wiring is solder and heat shrink tubing. ;)

Yes, solder is the best but I want to be able to remove the PCIII for reprogramming if necessary. I don't want to hard wire the PC in. Are you suggesting I solder the PCIII in?

If not, how (or what) are you suggesting I solder in.

yes I believe he is say ing to solder/hard wire the PCIII in. it is the over all best way to connect the wires for that warm fuzzy feeling. I soldered and heat shrunk mine as well.

It sounds like you only have a desk top. Uf thats the case then your right it will be difficult to reprogram it.
if so you may be able to buy a long usb cable if your computer is next to a window or a door.

a laptop is the best setup for a soldered in PCIII.

if you still want a disconect/connecter, and can't find the one you want at radio shack then I would suggest your local marine/boat shop for a high quality water resistant style plug.

hope that helps ;)
