It is an 87. I stripped it to a bare frame and painted it Citrone yellow. Also I welded a headlight bracket onto t from a 90 and up. But if you look closely at it you will see the differences as the 87-88 use a different frame. Alos the 87-88 use the pull start with decompression lever on the valve cover.
I used late model plastics along with raptor heel guards.
Also look at the front bumper, it has to be mounted with additional mount brackets yo use a 90 and up bumper.
I asure you it is an 87 Warrior. I have owned it for over 4 years.

I bought this for 750 it was BEAT sat outside for about 3 years just as it looks.

It's on the road now. It has the front wheels off my yfz till next week when I get time to put the new tires on it. They're all rotted out and the is a bent rear rim.

Mid winter it was done but a few things needed to be corrected to be safe for my wife

Heres the 2013 I just picked up for half the cost of new, I just put a set of Moose Raptor bend bars on it, other then that, Dynojet jet kit and Pro Flo Intake and filter kit on the way.

Updated pics, Now has +2 Full Flights with chromoly heims and plates custom painted by 2 fellow members BKRoll and Geeessfore top white with blue pearl and black bottoms, GT Thunder Provalve dualrates, Rath Universal nerfs and a Fourwerx Carbon hood. Also a pic of the other parts I haven't put on yet. Hipers new white rings and Hipers carbon fiber mudplugs. Next purchase will most likely be a good cam and upgraded rear shock.
