power commander confusion
ok, i just went fukkin crazy last night and ordered the- lte dual ceramic coated, a power commander, ac nerfs, maxxis razr2, mo flo lid, and skid plates, i even got the lte and the power commandr coming here on friday, my question is this, what do i do with the commander once i get it installed, im assuming i download a map from my pc, yes,no? so if that is correct iam looking for a map for lte duals, and the pro design w/k&n and the pro tec mo flo lid, any help would be appreciated, iam not even that comfortable installing the pc even after reading those directions on this site, and i heard the lte duals can be a real bitch on the rag, to install, so if u know any tips for those i would appreciate it greatly, as always THANKS. Iam so pumped to get these mods on that i can taste it!!!!!1

Once you pull the front plastic and gas tank off, it will become obvious. Locate the injector, unplug it, plug in the connector from the PC to the injector, plug the plug that was in the injector to its mating plug, tap into the yellow wire on the TPS and so on and so forth. Its easy. Since the bike is torn down this far, its a good time to install a twist throttle.
You dont have to take the tank all the way off the bike, just ubolt the 4 bolts......It will be easier if you do take it all the way off though.
As far as sending maps to the computer. Go online, download all maps to your computer. Just plug in the USB cable and the 9 volt adapter and send the map.

I am guessing that is were the "adapter" comes in. USB to one side 9 volt adapter to the other. Of course I have never seen a power comander! LOL Just guessing buy what I read in G7's post!

i bought my pc3 from fuelmoto and am gettign a map for the same mods as you-lte duals, pro design K&N and mo flow lid.
just waiting on it to arrive.

where did you buy yout PCIII? If you didnt get it at Fuelmoto you can go to PCIII's official site and see if they have a map for ya. Glam I agree with you 150%... twist throttle all the way!!!!!!!!!

I got my PCIII/map from fuelmoto------ the thing ran fantastic right off the bat, spark plug color is perfect. :grin_nod: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
