hey guys, im new to this....but this weekend i am going to go to my local dealership and trade in my 06 350 for a 660. hopefully they have some new 05s or 04s left there. i was just wondering if i get a 660 if there is any problems that they have out of the factory such as carb problems or like suspension problems that i should get fixed before putting too many hours on it. thanks.

The most predominant issues with the raptor are:
•2001 tranmission was prone to failure
•One way's go bad
If you come across an 01 with a bad tranny, it will be readily apparent. The one way is going to make wierd noises when you engage the starter.
Also check for cracks in the frame.
Oh, and try to sell your 350 privately first, you'll get raped if you trade it in.

I highly doubt they will have any new 04's or 05's left over at the dealer. You would be lucky to find an 06

Im just suprised its still there since they stopped making them, but I guess this is what happens when you live in middle of PA
