I wouldn’t say a cheap way into quad bikes!!! Still about £4,000/$5,000 2nd hand, think they was just under £6,000/$7,000 new only stopped make the 500 XLC last year to make way for a 400cc auto, Don’t look as nice and the 500 XLC in my opinion.

Raised the suspension a little as it was to low but can’t seem to get it higher off the ground! Anyone got any ideas on this?

Not without fabrication.
Lower shock mounts need to move in.

At a glance that horn looked like a turbo.

Do you have lowering links on the front? What a-arms are those?

Looks cool, and I like those.
My only concern would be, that when you Need to use that, you'll probably have some speed. And, the wind may blow that ridiculous mudflap size plate back down into clear view...better test that out...

No it’s fine it comes all the way up and the bracket is stiff so stays up when needed ??
