If the optimizer is brand new, it is set from the factory to the optimum setting for the pipe, however if you have an intake you may have to bump it. The green is the idle, the yellow is the midrange, and the red is WOT, as you are scrolling through. The best thing is to buy a new plug and do a test ride. Check the plug afterwards, if it's tan/brown you are good, black is rich, white is lean. Good luck on setting it, I had one for a while and fiddled with it constantly trying to get the settings right. I ended up getting a PC3 instead, put a map on it and haven't touched it since.
