How do I remove the exhaust heat shield on my 700? I have been on a few muddy days down the green lanes and the mud has backed onto the exhaust which has made it go a rusty colour and being a clean freak its annoying the hell out of me. I cleaned the down pipes with sum WD40 and some wire wool but cant get to the rest of it.

Ill be getting some DMC' duals soon but until then the standard one needs to be clean.

Cheers in advance peeps 8)

There r 2 bolts on top and 2 on the bottom. I will tell u there are washers involved and the can b a major pain in the butt to get back on.

No it's not hard but those freaking washers are a pain to get back on, just a little time consuming for what it is.
