while out riding today, i went through about 3 feet of water, on my 2002 raptor 660. now it doesnt run right.. it will start up and idle perfectly, but if you give it a little or alot of gas, it pops and sputters, and wont run. does anybody know whats wrong with it? any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked your spark plug? Sometimes when i used to ride through a lot of water some of it would get around the spark plug and cause it to run like crap. Also check your parking brake sensor, it causes issues similar to yours.

You shorted out the parking brake switch connection- unplug the connector - white, two pin, black pair in one side, green/black and black other side... hidden up behind the left headlight, near the radiator. Unplug, clean it out, leave it unplugged - seal it with some silicone sealant to prevent water entry in the future. (better yet, cut the green/yellow wire up near the CDI and seal it against water.

You won't miss the parking brake RPM limiter, believe me.
