Ok, I'm going through the rear of the quad and replacing everything -- brake pads, rotor, axle bearings, etc.
But, im stuck.

I have the axle "pinch bolts" free and everything off the axle (well, except what looks like a large "C" clip on the right side. Is that? I tried to release it, and it didn't want to budge. Then again, by the time I got that far, it was late and I was tired so I gave up.
Anyway, I'm just trying to get advice on my next step. Thanks!
I noticed there's Service Manuals on here. I'll grab one of those and look too.

Dont take the C-clip out unless you want the entire carrier to come out of the swing arm......The bearings can be replaced with the carrier still in there.....To get the axel out by itself just give the right side a whack with a rubber mallet or something that wont bruise the threads and it will slide out the left side of the machine.
