I put new pads on today and noticed the upper "slider" that the caliper floats on is stuck. Because of this my caliper mounting braked rubs against the rotor. I can see the mounts from the carrier housing bend/twist when I tighten the top mounting bracket bolt since the "slider" doesn't slide.

So...what are my options? Any suggestions how to get the pin free. Can I take it apart and grease it or is there a rebuild kit available? Mainly how do I get the damn pin to move. I managed to get it to turn and took the caliper off of the mounting bracket. I figure any more and I'll rip the lil boots that protect it.
