does anyone know how to verify the spring rate for the back shocks on a raptor 700. I think I need to put a heavier spring for a 250 lbs plus rider.your help will be apreciated greatly.

Thats up in the air. Im 230, and when I just put on +2 a arms with revalved yfz shocks, I barely got away with stock springs.... although with a stock swing arm..... get the springs to be safe. Won't be sorry. Big guy.

At 250lbs. you will indeed need a stiffer spring. Eibach makes a nice unit. In fact I would dare say that anyone over 200 lbs. could see an improvement with a stiffer spring. :thumbsup:

At 250 you are riding way too low in the shock stroke.
