Going to rebuild the kids 250, first time for me. Is it worth it to port? If so who do you people recommend? What is the largest bore that can be safely used without sleeving the cylinder? Is the Vito's cam a Web grind? I don't like the harsh ramps on the Web's and would go the Hotcam if Vito's is just a Web under a different label. Would it be beneficial to put in bigger valves?

Riding is mostly mx style. Not looking for a dyno queen.
Thanks for any and all reply's

Porting will definatly gain you power. The Vito's cam I believe is much more mild than the Webb, but a Stage 2 or 3 Hot Cam would be a good route to go. There are alot of different bore kits that I've heard of like 263, 267 maybe, 280, and of course the 300. I believe only the 300 requires resleeving. It wouldn't hurt to go +1 on the valves either if you can afford it. Have you decided on what compression to run? You'll probably need a bigger carb if you do porting, bigger valves, cam and a bore.
