I know that a power washer works well, but the clay at my location sucks! If you have the same issue try spraying (PAM Cooking Non-Stick) on the header and cyd head. Make sure it's clean when you apply. No more problem, clay falls off w/ water hose. Sometimes by itself...

I was amazed, the dirt falls off. No after effects!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use silicone spray on the entire atv. The hoses even shine. everything beads off.................... :thumbsup:

I know what you mean I live in eastern North Carolina. We have red clay all over the place. Hell, all the mx tracks are made of that crap here too. Nothing worst then getting covered in that stuff, and when it's dry it’s like riding through a desert.

Took the advice, cleaned the head pipes good and sprayed on the Pam before riding yesterday, the mud fell right off :grin_nod: Thanks for the tip :thumbsup:
