I have a brand new 700r 2011 model. It has a ton load of power and i really dont wanna put a pipe on it. Would a programmer do much for stock exhaust and intake?

Nope, all the programmer does is allow your motor to run properly on the pipe/intake. when you get used to the power and want more ,then just get the programmer/intake/exhaust package from a sponsor or partout deal down the line.

If it has "a ton of power" (that is a very subjective affirmation, haha) then keep it that way until you change your mind IMHO. As it's been said a fuel controller on a stock bike is useless. If you are hitching to do something, then perhaps a Dynatek revbox would be a good idea... It's a plug and play and very simple install.

To answer "Team Blue's" question, a programmer will give you better performance. The programmers that are currently on the market control only fuel. The MSD will allow you to control rev and speed limits, timing, fuel, accelerator pump, and will let you set a minimum timing number which will eliminate the 5th gear retard . Just by adding a small amount of timing this will give you a noticable difference in power on a stock machine. Once opened up (intake and exhaust) the gains are even more significant. Real time engine information is also displayed in gauge or monitor form to make your tuning even simpler. If you have any questions please give us a call. You can reach us at 888-258-3835. Thanks, Bret-MSD Powersports

Get a programmer, take out the stock spark arrestor and airbox lid, and you'll get a bunch of extra power.... you won't want to go back to stone stock lol
