after riding my 08 700R SEII for a few years, without adjusting my rear shock, i noticed in a picture that when i'm on it, it sits pretty low in the rear. I'm 225 lbs. how do i stiffen it up without ruining the way it rides on the trails? I'm not sure of how all the adjustments work. thanks

Aside from getting a stiffer rear spring, which is probably what you should do, you can increase the preload. There is a threaded collar around the top of the spring. If you loosen the top collar then tighten the bottom collar down to compress the spring more, then tighten the top collar back down on the bottom collar, it should provide more initial resistance to compression and increase the initial ride height. This will change the function of the shock but hopefully not so much as you'll notice.
