Hello Raptor Forum,

I just made a very impulsive purchase and picked up an 05 raptor 660 having never owned or worked on a quad before. Good ole Facebook marketplace came thru with a pretty solid bike with a few small issues.

Right now I’m trying to figure out a solution to a small oil leak at the bottom of the engine case, looks like right where the transmission block meets the back of the clutch gear.

Wondering if this is a huge concern, i was thinking maybe a bad gasket? It’s not shooting oil out while running, just notice a few drips on the garage floor.

I don’t want to have to split this case open first weekend I have with it but if I should then I will.

Keep an eye on your oil level and ride it.
Because unless that oil is running down from somewhere higher, then the center case gasket IS leaking, and it's a complete tear down to fix it.

Yeah im thinking thats gonna be the move for me, gonna do some brake work and an oil change before I take her easy on the trails this weekend and keep an eye on it.

Clean it then see how quick it comes back... oil is cheap!
