WTF was the name of that hill they went to at the end? I can't even fathom hitting up Glamis w/o paddles.
The bon-fire at the end broke a few rules... Pallets (because of the nails / staples) and the gasoline on the fire. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but it was kind of stupid the way they glamorized it.
Over-all the show kind of sucked to me. I thought it was funny how they were trying to hype it up and get the guys to guess what they'd be riding. First answer - sandrails. Umm... no, how about a paddle-less TRX450 instead? Oh yeah and later in the day we borrowed some rails too.
Summing up Glamis in a 30 minute show is a tall order no matter how you slice it so I guess given that constraint they did ok. I just got really annoyed at the hosts / layout of the show. I almost tuned out in the first 2-3 minutes. It reminded me of 'Shade Tree Mechanic' with the way it was shot and the hosts' interaction.
I would have to agree. I stayed up late to watch the show and afterwards wish I had go to bed instead. I wasn’t impressed with the show overall. I don’t think I will waste my time watching Epic Rides again. They could have done glamis more justice.
