St. Anthony Dunes May 20 - 27 2007 Are you comming?

You don't really need the fronts and you can get a set of sand star rears for a little for than what you are willing to rent for.

I need fronts and rears because I currently run 23s in the front and 22s in the rear because where I live, the trails are rutted pretty bad and the extra clearance really helps. Because I have 23s in the front, if I got a rental of rear 20s I would be sitting incorrectly with 23s in the front
Figure I might as well get the sands in the front 21s as well just to ride correctly cause I sure don't want to use 22 sand paddles as I don't need the clearance in the dunes.

Alright. I still think that at $150 should just buy some. You can always ebay them afterwards, you will loose less than $150. 150 for rental seems like a lot.

The sand stars with CMC rims are what I run. The rims are .90 thick I think, same as ITP's. I have only used them once and I don't know if CMC ships since they are a local company. You might want to call them. Each location is independently run so if one says they won't ship you may want to try a different store.

Damn he is offering free shipping on them now. $250 front and back on rims and free shipping... I am almost ready to buy be a backup pair of paddles. If you want them you should jump, cause they won't last long at that price.

So am I to understand that nobody on this forum will be at the dunes from the 20th to the 27th? I hope to meet some raptors out there for sure.

Our group will be there from the 24th to the 28th, I wont be there until the 25th wife has to work. I will be at Oasis Camp ground. If the Weather is Good. Last Year we Got Rained out. Big White/Silver 2002 Ford F-350 and a 32ft W.W. Hauler

I know the place Very :beer: :chair:well. Im not so sure you can party there.
The owner would get all butt Hurt if he heard any noises after 10:00pm

I didn't get your message in time but I had a blast. Sand Hills is nice and we partied with tons of people. A group of around 40 banshees from the Oregon Dunes showed up at the resort for the week and on the second weekend (memorial day) you couldn't move in the resort there were so many quads and rails.
The place is definately the nicest campground and the only thing the owners really care about is their grass. If you don't park your quad or put your gas cans on the lawn you will have no problem there. The biggest problem is that it is the farthest site from the big dunes so we would drive out to chokecherry and after 4 runs up the hill we would have to head back. We were going to do a fuel stash but never got around to it.

I will be back exactly one year from now (pre memorial day weekend).

Its All Good, Maybe next Time.
Did you guys ride into Oasis C.G.? We were the first Big Camp North of the Green Office.

We also had a Great time, I took a ride over to Sand Hills But there were just to many Raptors to figure out who was who. The Riding was great out behind Devils dune and the Back way coming back to Thunder, not the typical trail everyone take. We were at Choke cherry Saturday & Sunday Morning for an hour or two each day.
We Had a Blue Rhino w/ Paddles and a Green One with/out a couple of DS's, One had an ALBA (graphics) KIT,
2 Banshees, a YFZ 450 Ther were alot of Folks Up on Top watching the Races.
