do steering stabilizers imrpove handling a lot? i was looking at a gibson what other good ones are out there along with prices? do you need to run a stabilizer with aftermarket shocks or is it a good thing to do?

oh and how about along with a steering damper with the stabilizer? or are they the same thing

A steering stabilizer will prevent bump steer. They essentially work like a shock absorber. They will certainly improve the handling of your machine. I have the Gibson Dual stabilizer and it works well. I can pretty much hit a cinder block and the bike will track straight for the most part. I hope this info helps. Yes, a stabilizer and dampener are the same thing.
