Loss of power on a Yamaha raptor 660/686 big bore after having the timing chain replaced and new choke cable installed. Runs but has half the power.,Carb is fine…
My mechanic doesn’t know why??
Please help me out… Shop had it for 3 months now.

Sounds like the timing chain may be off 1 tooth, assuming the carbs are set correctly.

^^ Sixpack has the best 1st guess - he can check it pretty easily. What kind of mechanic... backyard or professional?

The other options - dirty jets - 3 months of sitting can do that.
