Suspension for Dunes and trails?

I’m 6’ 250 Lbs. and looking for any ideas on shocks. Dunes and trail. Should I go with the factory shocks on the 700SE or the go for the 700R and upgrade the suspension right away? While I'm at it, any thoughts on lowering and widening? Peace.
