I Just pulled my TB off today to start cleaning it up to send off to tqs and noticed that there is a coolant line going to it.

Has anyone ever bypassed this on there bike? Any positive or negative thoughts on this?
It is a common mod on LSX motors people have been doing for years. It helps to keep the air temp cooler.

I live in south louisiana so cold temperatures are not a concern.

its not used in the same way... in the LS its used to keep the throttle plate from freezing shut and sticking,
in the 700 it only flows thru the very small valve that controls the cold start air bypass, u will see no benefit from bypassing it, only problems with starting
