How much effort is involved in changing out the throttle cable?
also
What kind of pleasant surprises should I be aware of when disassembling/reassembling?
I sure don't wanna see springs and screws falling and flying everywhere when I get the last screw out
and I would sure hate to spill out some ultra rare 'throttle cable housing fluid' that I wouldn't happen to have on hand :lol:

Is there any final adjustments to make when reassembled? Is the original leverage ratio still intact?

The throttle cable is fairly straight forward to do. It's been a while since I've changed mine out, can't think of anything that tried to put a halt in progress. Did you ruin yours or are you going to a twist throttle?

It's not ruined, just tight with the risers I have on my bars.
I noticed that Motion Pro has extended cables, and I would like to change to those.

I'm asking about the effort involved because I want to know if I could go ahead and do it myself, or bring it in to a mechanic.

Is there a write-up on this somewhere?
