Couple of guys use a strap like what you use on a boat that makes that clicking sound. Not sure what its called. They tie down the front end to make it lower compressing the shocks. Is that a good idea? If I do it it would only be when Im about to race and then take it off.

He means a ratcheting tie down……I have heard of it but never used it. Probably won’t hurt in a drag. Probably not good for the shocks long term use and on bumpy surface it might buck ya.

alot of guys around my way use the straps when they drag race. it helps with keeping the front end down which in turn allows you to leave harder. the guys at my local shop used a pair of front shocks off a blaster on their 700r and it lowered it quite a bit. I'm not that serious about drag racing so its not that serious. 8)
