Trail Tech Flywheel, anyone tried it?

I know there's been some discussion about the lightened flywheel for the 04-05 raptor 660. Has anyone actually tried the trail tech flywheel out in their quad, if so, how is it, big difference?
I gotta get a new flywheel anyways, so i was considering the TT, or just get a used stock one off ebay or somewhere.

Also getting the gytr clutch and basket, but is there any benefit of the aftermarket pressure plate, or will the stock one do just fine? I don't see that part actually breaking, and the plates are kinda spendy, rather save the money and put it towards one of the many other upgrades going in right now

Not one person has one of these? lol... Well maybe i'll just get a stock one then. I read that the 01-03 flywheels are lighter than the 04-05, but will it work on my 04? I just bought a new la one way starter clutch for the 04 flywheel, not sure if it would work on the early year ones. ANyone?
Just get the 01-03 flywheel and L&A 1 way. It ways 5.8 oz more than the lightened trailtech for the 04 05 with an L&A.
Its not going to make any type of difference your going to feel though. The 1 way for the 04-05 wont fit the earlier models.
The wiesco basket is cheaper than the rest and and imo just as good if not better than the hinson/gytr. Save your money on the pressure plate. I do however reccomend the GYTR clutches (fiber/steel/spring kit).
well will my 04 l&a one way clutch fit on a 01-03 flywheel? Wasn't sure if it would bolt up.
If there's no real difference to be had, i'll probably get the 04 flywheel, cuz there's one on ebay for sale pretty cheap that ends today
wow i thought that 01-05 were exactly identical in every way

except for the 01 tranny prob

Flywheel/one-way changes in 04, marginally better one-way reliability. Some minor changes from 01-02 regarding axle and upper a-arms also I think. 04 also got yfz parking brake.

I don't believe the 04/05 one-way will fit on the 03 flywheel, I'd contact a company like ripper racing, L&A designs, rspconcepts, etc for a definate answer.
Hey, I just put a trailtech flywheel on my 05 Raptor. I have had good luck with it so far and it is 17 ounces lighter than stock. It makes the bike rev noticeably faster than before. It won't give you more power but your revving ability is increased. Also it should be a quality part because trailtech makes it.

Have you noticed your quad stalling easier then before?
how much do they cost
I HAVN'T NOTICED ANY STALLING AND IT COSTS APPROX $120 FROM RSP

2001s have a square sub frame & no reverse limiter. Thats all Iknow of for diffs.
its actually the 05 that got the yfz parking brake, and foot pegs
