Just wanted to say Whats up to everyone. This is my first post. I just picked up my 2006 Yamaha 2006 50th SE on April 1st, 2006. I've never ridden an ATV before, although since the 700r came out, I've been thinking of getting one. So my buddy went ahead and bought one, knowing that I wanted 1 as well. My buddy, Vince got the white one, since he lives in an apartment, he asked me to store it for him in my garage, so done, after 3 teaser rides around the block, I'm hooked, I bought one as well. Just also wanted to give Jeff and Dan props at Bay Area Yamaha in Burlingame, there new location is very big!!!! These guys were the cheapest, I saved at the most around 1600 compared to what others wanted to sell for, if you want to know what I or my buddy Vince picked us ours for, PM and I'll answer back.

Now getting to the purpose of this post. I didn't like the Warning stickers on the ATV, so this morning got to work and they are now gone. As well as the cheap looking "Special Edition" white sticker on the front carbon fiber. I also taped the "Fuel Injection" in white letters with some black electrival tape, a quick improvement, but maybe later I'll get a buddy to go ahead and make me a lower black vinyl piece and just throw it on there, but it doesn't look too bad.

On to the pics:

Still gonna do some for mods to the quad, air filter system, not yet sure Uni vs K and N, Exhaust not sure yet which one, would like the Akrapovic system but that is back and Power Commander, we'll see what the future brings.

I took my time to post up and do it right, so enjoy. I'll get some pics up after we do my buddies white 700r.

Peace and hope everyone has a Happy Easter!!!!!!!

So I got a quick 25 views and no replies at all? Wow!? Guess I'll start it off, I'll reply first.

Hey man, not bad, but yellow isn't really me.
LOL

Peace.

I removed my warning labels as well. They really take away from the appearance of the quad. Since then ive chopped the front fenders off as well. Mine is one of a kind.

Everybody has their color. Mines blue. Somebody on here had a yellow one with black rims with yellow rings.....looked hot.

Now you need to put a raptorforum.com sticker there :)
One of my hopefull future mods, depending on funds, will get a set of black wheels of some sort, with paddle tires for Pismo, most likely. I also would like to add black powder coated nerf bars with heel guards.

Hope everyone has a Happy Easter!!!

i have to be honest, the only real change that i liked was the removing the SE sticker on the front. imo, it just looks empty where the warning sticker has been removed. just by looking at yours and other pics of it, it just doesnt look very, o for lack of better terms, "smooth" with them off.

Exactly, if those indentations weren't there, it would be perfect. But hey, it is what it is.

Peace.

Found these on ebay but a little steep for my wallet just to cover up warning labels.
those are cool LNS. like you said though, i dont think that i would get them for 60 bucks. if they came plain and/or you could put your own logo, saying, etc on them, maybe then. that carbon fiber would look really good on the yellow i must say.
man they make everything for everything. covers for warning labels. wow
Those covers are very nice. I got a set for my SE and they are real carbon fiber with the graphics under the clear coat so they wont peel. They will also do custom graphics for you. If you have a white 700 they even have silver carbon fiber. Just my .02 on a nice product.
