[Desert Racer]

Ok I need some new parts for my raptor. I am looking at the RPM axle. I see that it is one of the best in the buisness or am I totally wrong? I am getting into MX'ing and Desert racing so I need something that can take the abuse. Next I need a steering stems. Was looking at the IMS +1 stem with 1 and 1/8 inch bars. Are they any good? you got a hard chioce in parts if your trying to do both MX and Desert!! Those require two completly different set ups but I can give you a good start for the Desert set up.

#1 Gusset the frame, or get a full chromoly frame

#2 Desert tank of your choice with 5 Gal cap.

#3 Antivibe +2 stem, Fasst Flex bars, and a steering damper of some sort.

#4 shocks, to go cheap, start with the front shocks get some used YFZ's then spend your money on the back or go to next step right away

#5 +1.5 to +2.5 swingarm and good rear shock and a wider axel.

#6 +2 a arms and fully adjustable shocks and better tie rods.

#7 Motor mods.

Well I am 70% desert racing and 30% MXing so I am mostly gonna get it set up for desert and hope it will work good in both worlds.
