Been working on this project for about 8 months now. Buying used parts when I came across deals, quite a few new parts as well. Today I put on the monster megs, db fab ti pegs, sprockets, chain, brembo kit, radiator, lectron, custom intake, and throttle assembly. Next is drag oil and fuel tanks, ignition/coil/battery, coolant hoses, and build a seat pan. She’s so close! Goal is to have it done and thoroughly tested by Northwest Raptor Rally.

What about her 450?
That will stay a dune bike. I put different tires and wheels (lighter) on it with a +4 stellar arm and some trail tech leds. We were going to do some motor work, but priorities changed.

My raptor got some new paddles, a +8 stellar arm, and will add some compression before rally.

I’m already planning out the next fast bike. Probably won’t get around to that this year sadly.

Today I installed fuel tank with a high flow pingel valve, drag oil tank, coolant lines and clutch lever/cable. Subframe is all shaved down, ready to start a seat pan. Next up is to remove stator, remove speed sensor, and set up the new electronics. Going to be using an msd single cylinder ignition and coil powered by an antigravity 8cell.

Houser nerfs are straight up amazing. I ride all over in my bike, so I move my feet A LOT and the pegs alone justify the cost in my opinion. The added vibration reduction is just icing on the cake. Hit up Kenneth for them. They will be one of my next purchases for my bike

How do they work? Is there a bushing similar to the flex bars?

Hell yeah. What is your build? I see in your sig its a cuervo 804, but what stroke and bore is that? What cam and how big of valves? Just curious what it takes to lay down that much power

105.5 bore +8 stroke, +2 valves, 5150 cam, 56mm carb on mr12.
Made a little more power on carb than it did on 58mm throttle body when the head was brand new.

Great power, I've said it many times before that Cuervo builds make great power. I really like the reasonably flat torque curve. Great job with the build.
I’m extremely happy with it. The motor was built a few years ago and had been sitting on a bench, dry. I was able to pick it up for a steal. I threw some fluids in, had Daniel help with the wiring, and it fired right up. So far everything with this build has gone relatively easy. Tons of time spent on modifying all the parts that “almost fit”.

I’ve got to build a seat pan this week, and clearance the brake pedal a bit more.
Then I’ll go through the whole thing and make sure everything is tight.
Gonna take it to Winchester for some shake down, weather depending.

Ya, i seen a while back cuervo had several falicon cranks with the knife rod for sale. I guess he must really like those!

Ittl be ran hard all summer, so we’ll see how it goes. To tell you the truth, the part that concerns me the most with this build is the billet trans. It will have the cryo treated micro polished gears next rebuild.
Not worried about breaking, just wearing before I’m ready to rebuild.

wow why so narrow? what are the pros and cons?
Basically a drag bike with “suspension”. Ittl be used primarily for hill racing and possibly flat drags.

Less width to catch bumps, WAY less weight. The rear width is no issue, the front end setup has some geometry issues though. The angle that the front shocks sit at is pretty severe which is going to make for some bump steer. It also severely limits turning radius.
