hit the rev limiter pretty hard when missing the 2-3 shift. Ripped a falicon knife rod apart.
Later that day crashed on a borrowed raptor in the same place and dislocated shoulder as well as the standard trauma injuries.
All this 5 weeks after crashing on the same hill trying to break the speed record and separated the ac joint in my shoulder.
It’s been rough lately.
Ugggghhhh. Im sorry Tweb, every part of that story is awful. They say bad things come in 3 so hopefully that spell is behind you! Thanks for sharing the destruction pic too, most would be too prideful to do so. You know its always "the previous owner"

Edit: also, this is why we need a "dont like" or "puke" button in addition to the "like"

On the bright side, I’m recovering from injuries way faster than the doctors and physical therapist thought possible. 3 weeks since accident and I have nearly full use/strength back. Apparently most people would still be in an immobilization sling.
Also the raptor was over 90hp, so it was being pushed very hard. It’s always just a matter of time before they go boom. I’ve been pretty fortunate.

Hate to hear that for you.
I hope things get better as quickly as possible!
Post up any parts that got ruined.
I know that's a big money build, but hopefully some of us have some parts we can send to help get you back going again.

Found a really clean roller with title. (The white '06) Removed the engine i built from the red and grey '07 and put it in the roller. Still more stuff to swap over but its a good start!

Ps. Sorry about my cornhole in the background...

Very bad news from your injuries and bike. It's good to know you are recovering fine and fast, I wish you the best in the process!

We attended an event at a new track just starting up near Salem Oregon. It’s a 300’ dirt drag track currently being developed. There is no timing system yet, was a “flashlight start” but there was a radar gun to see mph. Plaques were given to the fastest 2-stroke and fastest 4-stroke. It was a great time. Jacki ended up being the fastest 4-stroke at 78mph on her 870cc Cuervo powered raptor.

Replaced the broken oem heelguards. Suprisingly (or maybe not) these were cheaper than new original ones.

Finished up with plastics. I had some different pods to put on, so went that route, really makes it stand out vs all other square pods. Need to ride at night now to see if I have them set right. Grabbed the wife's Raptor seat, might take hers and get her a good one I seen on Cascades site. She doesn't care for the gray plastics.... Well it's not her bike so there, lol. This was worth the 8 month wait on plastics.

Cascade is doing my seat. Turn around is 8 weeks. Been seven weeks for me so should have it soon. Will post a pic. There stuff is top notch. Looks good. I have to agree with your wife. Replaced my grey front with black. Have the grey front fender in a box. Tried to sell but shipping was ridiculous.

Quads look swwweeeeettttt!!! I LOVE shiney stuff! It took so long to get my red rear fenders I have lost all motivation to put them on :) That is why when I get something I set it up how I want it right then. I know myself too well. Always off to another project, like my new huntin' rig...
