im a noob when it comes to porting and machine shop work

there is so many different way's to go

all i was asking is what's the best route for our 660's

iv ben doing alot of searching but want to find out by first hand
not by compay's saying there product is the best for your 660

the best power gain your going to get is from a good exhaust, after that a good cam, and piston (11:1 pump gas, or 12:1 for extra 1.5 hp and run race gas, clean up the ports.

When you say "best" do you mean reliability, money, power??? Best means different things to different people.

When you say "drop-in engine kit" do you mean just a cam or do you mean cam, piston, crank/rod etc?

If you can clarify those two things for me, I can tell you what my experience says.

yes, you would have to ship it to me, or if you wanted to save a little money on labor, you could buy the stuff for the bottom end from me and assemble the bottom end yourself and send me your jug and head to bore/port/valves/valve job etc.

I agree with maddog! That list he just put up is going to be your best bang-for-the-buck upgrade and will more than likely be all the power you need. You can get a raptor to almost 50hp without even breaking into the engine.
