Why this wrench isn't included is beyond me. Every other atv I've owned includes this darn thing. Anyway, Yamaha's part (YMCSHOCK0100) is $58 CDN!!! Royal Distributing in Canada has generic version listed for $8, but no stock! figures. I couldn't find any listed on the forum's prefered vendors. Where did you guys get your's?

thanks

Never needed the wd-40 tough.

By the way, it's called a spanner wrench.

Any automotive speed shop can get a Moroso that will work for you.

Just unbolt your airbox, easy access then.
I guess that is where the long flat screw driver and hammer come into play. Certainly not much room down there to do much. Clicker shocks would make it much simpler, but then you loose a bit on adjustability.

Haven't done it yet, but I would say CW to increase spring preload, CCW to decrease. I'm still waiting for my dealer to supply me with the owner's manual  It was lost during PDI. Unfortunately can't find 700R SE manual free online. Yamaha's USA website only has 06 700R, shocks are different. Oh well, will have soon. Hope to post a bunch of pics of my mods by Sunday.
