Looking for more power already. Thinking 12.5:1 because I want to run a X4 Megacycle and probably will throw a +5 stroker crank in it too.

Just a little sketchy about using boost, or how much I would have to use when using 91 octane. Don't want to use a whole bottle or something for each tank.

I ride around 1000 feet elevation and ride mainly old logging roads/railroad beds, but sometimes some off road muddy/rocky trails. (might be too much with a X4???)

Thanks

Dont waist your time with octane boosters, they only raise the octane points .6 instead of the advertised 6 points. Do you and your wallet a favor and pony up for a half and half mix of race gas and 91.

Use Kemco TEL additive. It will raise your octane level from 2-16 FULL points. It's not a lead substitute. It's actual TETRAETHYL LEAD. Here's the mixing rates and octane levels.

TREAT RATES R+M/2
0.6- Ounces OS-130 to 1 gallon/fuel……….2.0 point octane increase
1.2- Ounces OS-130 to 1 gallon/fuel……….3.5 point octane increase
1.8- Ounces OS-130 to 1 gallon/fuel……… 5.0 point octane increase
2.4- Ounces OS-130 to 1 gallon/fuel……….6.5 point octane increase
3.0- Ounces OS-130 to 1 gallon/fuel…….…8.0 point octane increase
6.0- Ounces OS-130 to 1 gallon/fuel……..11.0 point octane increase
18- Ounces OS-130 to 1 gallon/fuel……..16.0 point octane increase
Octane is in full points. eg; 93 octane to 101 octane by adding 3 oz. / gallon fuel

I used it with 13.5:1 compression in my trx450r for over a year and the top end looked great when I tore it down. I now have a 12.5:1 JE piston in my 700 and it runs great. Here's a link to Kemco's website. It's much cheaper to buy it by the case.
