I have been very patient not saying much publicly about this very bad encounter. Giving him a fair chance to solve this. My shocks were first lost with a few others when he shipped them to the wrong address and i received someone else'. I have been in contact randomly with Josh when I finally receive a return call with little help solving this issue since the rebuild. Asked him some basic settings and came to realize he had the high speed needles completely shut.Which I never even guessed to touch after being rebuilt by a "professional" The rebound and low compression are out of adjustment as well. Yeah great service and a waste of $665 Coming off of severe limiting injuries from an atv wreck in 09 I barely ride as it is maybe a total of 40hrs since the rebuild in feb of 2010 and thought this would help. What a nightmare,Still have the invoice sitting right next to me seeing how far off the adjustments are.And forgot to mention if the springs are blasted and powdercoated like Josh say's then why is there BLUE showing under my black springs? I got screwed by this guy. I won't make the same mistake ever again. How about a refund of 50% for your lack of service and ruining my suspension.

They look good but when I rode it they were worse than my stock ones. I'm not sure what the front is doing yet but the back end want's to come up all the time. I weight a little more than 200lbs so if it was rough for me it would be worse for Jamie since he's a little lighter. Jamie good luck with getting them right and or some of your money back.

Reactive suspention in boyertown pa. You can probally just drive there. He does good work.

Ive been a member with rf since 07 and have supported vendors and group buys on different raptor forums. JD performance,RPM,Flexx,Hiper,Fourwerx carbon,TQS,KB motorsports,Baja design the list goes on and all were straight forward honest and i would recommend them to anyone. The reason Im letting people know is because keeping quiet hasn't fixed my problem.I may be stuck but maybe I can help someone else avoid the same "damn it"
Id love to get them redone by someone else but I don't have the $$. Only working part time from my wreck in 09. But thank you guys for the links.

This is BS. So many problems ive heard come from Wiig. Id never go there or recommend them to anyone. Sucks for you Jamie. I feel for ya. This type of business ethics is just wrong. IDK why people cant just do what people pay for. If you screw up great. Accidents happen. But then not to make it right? Well thats wrong! Good luck Jamie. Hope it all works out for you!

Tracking numbers are given upon request. Yesterday was a month since you shipped the shocks to me but, there has been two weeks of shipping going on. Communication has been horrible because of:

1. Going to Indy for the Dealer Expo
2. Not giving adaquete time to respond back
3. Posting on a public forum instead of sending a pm.
4. My other job that takes 12.5hrs. away everyday doesn't give me much of a chance.
5. I do have many other shocks that need to be done and can't always answer the phone, e-mails, or text messages right then and there.

Also,

The work order form didn't have written down that you needed gloss black springs on your shocks. I remember talking about doing it but all the other people had a note on there work form to do custom powdercoating. You were charged $655.97 instead of $775.97. I am sorry for the mix up but I can assure you that I am in no way trying to do you wrong. I do feel that I have been personally attacked in a public forum instead of asking questions in a pm. Your total savings was $348.

Dont bash him for a stupid shipping mistake. I spoke with him about YOUR ordeal and its not his fault. UPS had to take the shocks out of the box and inspect them to see what they were. Then they put them in the wrong box. If the shocks did get lost, thats STILL not his fault. Thats what shipping insurence is for.

If it was'nt for the whole shipping snaphoo you would of had your shocks along time ago.

I've herd both sides of the story and know whats going on here. It sounds like you just need to accept whats going on and deal with it. Your shocks are late, shit happens. Should it of happened, no.

If everyone would run around bashing vendors for stuff like this, we would'nt have any vendors.

Per Josh's txt to me. He has yet to call me, last time he called was 2 weeks ago. he did send me a e-mail, but I was'nt able to reply to it until this morning.


Josh has been sick as hell for weeks, ontop of working 14+hour days. Give the man a chance.

Sounds all like BS excuses to me. There is always something to blame. My other job, UPS, Being sick ect..... Well if you work 12-14 hours dont take on so much shock work or dont do it at all??? Idk id be pissed and would feel treated wrong in this matter but what do i know.

It's a shame that Josh has done this. I never sent shocks to him but every time I have talked to him about mine he has seemed to be a stand up guy. Guess there are 5 order of shocks to go somewhere else.

The reason why I decided to get my suspension revalved and bought a precision,

Shattered my right wrist,
Fractured my right hip,
broke the ball off the top of my right femur,
Broke my nose,sinus cavity,
Nerve damage on my entire left side,
Muscle damage on my left shoulder,
2 slipped disks in my back,
Cervical spondylosis in my neck Cervical Spondylosis - Neck Pain
lost 50% hearing out of my left ear
and a severe concussion.

He should have just stoped or stoped taking orders if he couldn't handle the additional work. When you make it seam like that's all you do then people get pissed off if you take forever and mess up the orders. I know shit happens but make it right and protect your name by keeping your customers happy. If I say I'll do something and it dosn't happen the way I say it will or takes longer then I would do what ever I could to make the person happy. I could see doing jobs for friends but maybe he should stick to his day job.

I have this posted of a few different forums and the complaints are trickling in. This is escalating into false advertising and not doing the job described.



Complaint 1,

Hey at least they tried powdercoating your springs. I paid extra for silver PC and still got a completely blue spring I was so done with the whole process by then I didn't care and couldnt get ahold of him. This was before shawn started helping him and his PM to you i think was pretty harsh coming from a vendor IMO. I wouldn't say I had a completely horrible experience with wiigstyle but I probably wouldn't recommend sending shocks there to anyone.
Prices do seem high!

Complaint 2

I had sent Josh a rear shock for rebuild to Coop's specs. After waiting a while I got ahold of him via Preddy. Talked to Josh finally, and he said "Alot of times people send me shocks with no info or where they're from" and he said that's what probably happened to me, and that he got a rear shock from Arizona (where I lived at the time) but had no idea who or where it came from, so he just put it in storage.

I told him I wrote in THICK permanent marker on the side of the box, and it read this

Dale Cooper
Raptor 700
+2 fwd arms
+6 Swingarm
Hillshooter/Duner
210lb rider (I'm 180)

And after I told him that, he just simply stated "That didn't happen". I felt really weird after he told me that, the only thing I could say at the time was "Uhh, I didn't make that up, that is what I did". Also have told him several times I'll pay full retail for the rebuild, just wanted it done, even though his Company name was published as a Sponsor in the Sand Sports article.

Pretty much after he told me that, I knew it was a lost cause. I gave him my updated information, have tried calling a few times since, but I'm pretty sure it'll never show up.

He's just one of those forum rip offs, just like KDS, and so many other people I've seen on different forums over the years. It seems like a common thing to see, the same excuses from different people, it's always too busy with work, health, wife/ex-wife, yadda yadda.

Complaint 3



I have have never voiced my complaint about my dealings with josh but I figure I might as well put my experiences down.

I sent him my shocks to re spring and revalve. I wote a note with my current set up and how I ride and my weight to get my shocks set up(+2 arms and +4 swingarm. I waited 8 weeks. Then I called him and he told me they were all set up and ready to ship. he went over that he set them up for stock arms and stock shock. I kindly reminded him it was for +2 arms and +4 swing arm. he said o well you can just tighten the preload when you get them and you should be fine, and he would send them out in a few days. I got them and they were too soft and I had to crank the preload as far as I could, and they are still too soft.. I called him 6 months later and said I had a plus 4 swing arm and I think I need a stiffer spring, he said let me pull you file and see what work he did on them. He said yes I was right and I need to buy a new spring. It was gonna cost me 109 dollars more for the spring that should have been put on it in the first place. wtf.

I just hope jamie gets his deal with JOSH resolved..........

AND the rest of, any of you that want to send JOSH your shocks, take a hard look at how HIS business is done............ :banghead:

Thanks Kenneth for the kind words. Im still dealing with some problems and barely ride as much as i used to. Maybe I can get these shocks dialed in and make it much easier when i do ride. Josh has made it clear i will receive no more help from him.

So if anyone wants to get fucked and i mean FUCKED go ahead and send them off to him and see how little customer service you get once this guy takes your money. And if they are lost in shipping, its not his fault its yours for being impatient
