I just bought an 01 660R and the rear tires are shot. I'm having enough problems now keeping it on four wheels. I have found a set of 22/11-9 tires and rims for really cheap. I was just wondering if anyone else who had put bigger tires on their raptor had problems. I know it'll make it more prone to tip over, but is it something I should avoid? (I can get the tires/rims with half - 3/4 tread for less that one new tire). It's really pissing me off when I get below the balance point on a wheelie and spin the tires, hehe.

A lot of people run that size of tire. If the price is right, get them.

I run 22'' kenda klaws. I run them for ground clearance. I regeared mine 13-42 for the bigger tires too. They work great!

I have 22" itp mudlites all the way around. Great ground clearance, and i haven't tipped my quad on it's side when i had the stock axle.
