I road my 700 over to a buddies house tonight to watch the ufc fight and when I went to start it to go home, it backfired and wouldnt turn over. We pulled the plug and it was black. Upon trying to get it to fire it smelt really rich. I havn't had any problems until now after installing my mods which include pcIII, hmf full sport, and k/n intake lid off. What gives?

after reading some other threads I am willing to bet its the plug. Now for it running rich what am I going to have to adjust on my pcIII to make it run a little leaner... :3question:

did you hit the throttle before it warmed up..?
this happened to me foaled the plug instantaneously

once you start your rappy you need to keep your finger off the throttle for atleast 20-30 seconds

I would guess between running rich or I have read in the Mods section about people having the injector going bad and dumping to much fuel in and it gets in the oil bc there is so much. Hope its just rich man.. :thumbsup:

Sounds to me like you just fouled a plug. Start there and let us know.
