How can you tell when its time to replace your chain before it breaks on you? what signs should I be looking for ?. the reason why I'm asking this is because my buddy has a banchee and I compared the chain tension with my raptor 700 and it feels loose. is that normal on raptors. how loose is to loose ? and how tight is to tight ? thank you guys for the feed back.

With the chain rapped around the rear sprocket, grab the chain at the rear of the sprocket and pull back, there should be very minimal play, if it pulls away from the sprocket, your chain is worn, and so could the sprockets.......
