not too raptor related but it is yamaha and i dont know who else i would ask. saw the raptor hybrid post and its similar. im working on putting an R6 (yamaha) motor into a banshee (yamaha) but im having trouble finding a rolling chassis for cheap. just came across a 1988 250r rolling chassis for $200. the 250s were small and 2 stroke, would i have trouble with fitting it in there or cracking the frame? wont be racing or doing any jumps. seen it done in banshees and thats what i planned but this is cheap, would it be any more difficult than a shee? any help/info will be appreciated

Regardless of the chassis you use you'll need to gusset the frame to handle the increased weight and power. That said I don't have dimensions availible for you. I'd check exriders.com and http://forums.everything2stroke.com/honda-trx-250r/ and some similar sites to see if you can get any input from people who've done a similar build or at least done the measurements to see if it was possible.

I've seen 600 and 900's in midsize (ie warrior) quads and trikes so it's not out of the question. It just may be significantly harder and more involved with some chassis over others.
