Well I have an oil leak above where my exhaust studs are..I assume the leak is where the head cover meets the head, ill get a big puff of smoke from oil hitting the headers if I hit the front brakes and everything shifts forward from stopping. The tappet covers are tight, may replace the orings for those too. but.. when redoing the sealant for the head cover, do I want Yamabond 4 or 5..or something better?

I use ThreeBond instead of Yamabond, but # 5 cleans up better than # 4 if I remember right.. ThreeBond works very good for the cases & head cover.
Good luck

Yamabond 4. Yamabond 5 dries to hard and doesnt stay soft and fexable. This makes it easier to clean up but it also doesn't seal as well.
