Alright I just put a set of yfz shocks on my raptor, and they make kind of a clunk sound if i really jump up and down on it, the shocks seem to operate fine, but the noise bothers me. I'll post a link to a video in a second.

Anyone have any ideas?

also i can rotate my springs on these shocks by hand when i have no weight on the bike, is that normal?

There's the link to the video of the noise. It seems alot louder on camera.

put some washers between the upper shock mount and frame.

You may have preload set a little low... adjust the large pair of nuts around the shock to compress the spring a little more. It may get rid of the clunk too, if that's a function of the shock bottoming out.

alright, I thought about that, since the springs are able to be turned by hand. I'll try washers first once i get some, and then the springs. luckily the spanner wrench from my track car fits!
