Gopro homemade safety strap

Not sure if anyone else has done this but just figured I'd post the idea because f you have one I'm sure you would rather keep it than lose it lol.

Anyway made a safety strap for it. Looped a lace around the silver clip part on the back door of it. Then I tied it tight with a good knot. Took one of those lanyard clips & tied it to my goggle strap at the back of my helmet & tied the other clip part to the lace. Now I can clip & unclip whenever I want as well. I also plan on using more of these clips on other things I will use my gopro on.

Here's a picture of the back of my helmet with it all set up.

Good idea...I think every other minute I reach up and check to make sure it's still mounted. I'm worried about nailing a branch when trail riding.

yup i know what you mean i did that too! This is what you should do too. Super easy and only takes minutes. Im sure you can use some other sort of rope or string or fishing line or something if your worried about the shoe lace not being strong enough
