This is a common issue if the intake valves are tight - check your clearance. It will cause poor start unless you bump it.
The valves tighten up as they wear, and when cold the clearance gets closer than when hot - so you can ride it and its fine, but once it cools down it won't start cause the starter can't turn it fast enough to build up compression.
I've told you what the most common cause of your exact symptoms is... it could be many things including the convergence of Venus and Mars - but since they are MUCH less likely to be your issue, I have not included them in my suggestions. ;-}
