my wife bike has a flat spot it the gas from idle... if you try to floor it from low rpm it will bog and die if you dont let out of it or get past that spot the get after it. you dont realy notice when riding. it has gytr full Exhaust and gytr intake with the box cut out so you can just look under the seat and see the filter hanging there and 160 main jet and rev box.

That has nothing to do with the fuel, it's the accelerator pump that is the problem.

To fix that you need to do the fallowing mod.

Take that black cover off the side of your carb
the black arm and the arm with the screw/spring put a ziptie or safety wire around the point that those 2 arms touch.

You're getting the bog and if you push the throttle in while you have that cover off you'll see that the silver arm comes off the back one then the black arm plays catchup that space is the bog.

Putting the wire around those 2 arms you'll no longer have that gap and the bog will be gone.

The photos are from the spring mod another way to fix the bog but don't loosen the throttle wire. Just pull the cover off and put the ziptie or safety wire in there. I did safety wire and it works better some people have had problems with zipties braking after a while.

so villain put the wire around the accel pump arms and the bog got alittle better but was still there so i took the open tip off and put the three hole tip on and with the more restricted tip the bogs gone......??? with the restricted tip, less air flow means more fuel right so with the open tip im to lean?
look at how they cut my air box out...

yeah, I suggested going to a 170 main and the NCVQ needle will richen you up to the right area to start fine tuning with your a/f screw. I personally wouldn't want to have a "air box" like that. I just took the lid off and that is more than enough. But I don't ride dunes. But even then you'd want a foam filter not the GYTR- K&N style filter
