Clutch mount question

there is a set of wires that come out of the clutch mount that I assume signal something. Question is do I need it?? It has a quick plug down onto the wiring harness. I assume that it is a signal that shows the clutch is engaged or not for starting. With it unplugged would it appear to the computer that the clutch is in and allow it to start while in gear and clutch out? That is OK with me just want to know what to expect with it unplugged. Thanks

Im assuming you are wanting to change the clutch perch with an aftermarket one. You can unplug the wires but it wont start until you tie them together, Just cut the wires and twist them together and tape the crap out of them and you are good to go. But be careful cause if you ever turn the key on in your garage and hit the starter and it just happens to be in gear it could go thru the back wall. lol

You dont have to actually cut the wires if you can make a pigtail, just stick a pigtail in the connector behind the left headlamp. Just follow the wires from the switch and you should find it.
