Hello friends thank you for the time to read and help me out, I have a 2003 Yamaha Raptor 660r and basically im just wanting to get some advice on what a fair asking price would be to let it go here is a list of what I know to be wrong.

1. Missing front plastic.
2. Something is happening when hit the throttle it will bog down and quit, from what i gather this could be a CDI box or safety switches.....not sure.
3. Needs brakes.

Other than that this is a decent 4-wheeler.

Looking to get something less complicating haha.

THANKS ALOT!

Any mods that you haven't mentioned (exhaust, nerfs, cam, new tires, suspension, intake) will have a little influence. I'd check craigslist, fine one in similar condition near you, then subtract
1) 150 for the missing plastics (350 if you're missing headlights too)
2) 250 for the rev limiter that you won't track down,
3) 150 for the brakes
then subtract a chunk because the buyer has the impression that they are purchasing from someone who doesn't take care of their equipment.... that should put you in the $900-$1100 range.

Option B,
1) go on craigslist or ebay and find a set of plastics, just the front if you're lucky
2) check the stickies in the raptor 660 section of the forum and take care of the parking brake and reverse rev limiters, should take less than an hour, maybe even less without the front plastics.
3) Go on Ebay and drop the $18 for new brake pads and change them yourself.
Those simple steps should bring the value back up to $1600- $2000, and yes, cheap fixes that you don't do yourself really do bring down the resale value that much!

Good luck!
