im not sure about longer but the pro design one is an awesome shifter so much better than standard

 

agreed ! I wanna say it's a bit longer, but I couldn't say to be sure off the dome.

The main advantage to the Pro-design is it's a direct shifter - gets rid off all the linkage that does nothing but have major play and cause bad missed shifts. Bolts directly to the shaft just like the 700 shifter does. A MILLION times better !

Whys is the 660 shifter designed with the linkage? I am looking for one with a little more reach as well but am afraid the 660 is designed the way it is for some reason and don’t want to have issues.

 

Why longer you got big feet? If you can't find one that's longer just cut and lengthen. Like cut the end off yours then buy a stock one of eBay 5-7 bucks cut it in 1/2 then weld it to the stock shifter you can make it any where from 1-3" longer maybe more idk just a quick thought. Here's a picture of a home made shifter I have on my 700

so anything is possible if you really want it.

 

That's a crazy looking shifter. never seen one like that.

 

Takes a little getting used to,but once you do it's lovely no more moving toes up or under they just slide right between and boom you're ready to shift up or down. FLWOODSRAPTOR made it for me. I love it it's made from 2 stock shifters.
