floats could be stuck therefore not letting it get any fuel

 

the bowls are full and floats seemed fine when installed

 

clogged gas line?

If you wait a minute, and it starts right back up, that is my bet. Bowls aren't staying full enough to stay running.

Or: Incorrectly adjusted floats and valves.....

 

How to adjust floats ?

 

Those pesty mains and pilot jets have to be cleaned good! See through good! I poke a piece of thred through (like a needle and thred) and slide the jets back and forth. If certain their clean you might want to check the filter from the cock-pit valve to the gas tank. If your tank was dirty this could be partailly clogged. This happened to my buddy's bike. good luck.

 

Remove the petcock from the tank, there is a filter or screen attached to it.
