Have you checked for spark. If you have spark and it won't start, adjust the valves first. If you don't have spark, unplug the voltage regulator to see if the spark returns. Get back to us with what you find.

Ok I pulled the spark plug an put it to metal it sparked as soon as I hit the button then nothin

 

Did you try unplugging the voltage regulator and turn the engine over to see If you have spark.

 

i unplugged it an didnt even get the initial spark i had before!

 

im gonna go ahead an go pick up another plug try it just in case leave more ideas please

Well from what I was told thats the only thing that has to do with spark that aint been replaced yet I just didnt know why it wouldnt push start the guy I bought it from said he out new cdi which is a pro comp cdi looks brand new new coil new spark plug but he never even mentioned a stator I paid 1200 for it cause he couldnt get it to fire an said he didnt have time to mess with it its an 01 with all gytr covers aluminum oil can brand new razr 2 tires itp baha pro wheels dg xcelerator exhaust system nerf bars bumper and and frab bar durablue 2+2 axel pro comp cdi k&n air filter no top but he didnt tell me if its jetted or boared and it has the aftermarket plastics with the flat vents any way to find out if its jetted or bored without taking it apart?

Ok guys so I replaced the stator and still nothin took yhe spark plug back out to find out if I was getting fire and when I turn the key over it sparks but nothing when I turn the engine over whats this mean

 

This doesnt make sense, are you saying when you turn the key on the spark plug begins to spark without turning the engine over........

 

Yes as soon as I turn the key it sparks 1 time then nothing while turning the engine over

 

Is this with the regulator hooked up or not.

Look near the top left of any of the main forum sections (e.g., 660 Maintenance) and find the 'New Thread' button... push it, enter a title and your questions - Voila!

 

Sorry I havent been on guys been upgrading some things, it was one of two things bad wiring to the cdi or a bad ground to the coil we did both things at the same time an had spark after thanks a bunch and sorry I didnt reply faster!!

 

With that being said my best guess would have to be that it was the ground.
