Hi first off, how do i add a picture to explain which 2 hoses i need help with on where to go i click insert image and you have to type a URL?How do i do that, i need to put my two pictures up of my two hoses that im not sure where they go so i can get my raptor started. I got an 03 raptor 660, and one of those hoses in the hose from the actual fuel tank, where does that go exactly, and i have another hose im not sure it sticks up next to the carbs and idk where the other end goes or if its just a breather tube or something, please help............if someone could send me a picture of a top view of the carbs so i know where this one hose goes, since there is a little connector inbetween the two carbs that moves up and down

Willy? Isn't that the breather tube that normally goes back to the airbox? The fuel hose from the tank connects to the metal tube sticking straight back from the left carb... doesn't it?

yR660 - i suggest you download the OEM service manual from a sticky in the 660 Maintenance section of this forum - it has good diagrams showing all that you question.

ok first off, could i email both of you guys to send you the pictures so you will know exactly what im talking about. PM me with ur email so i can send you. Cause still not sure, your saying the hose from my fuel tank goes to a metal tube sticking out of the left carb, what goes into the black connector in between both carbs its got like ridges on it and goes up up and down?

The black center hose bib is just a breather. It connects to a U shaped tube that snakes around the metal support just behind and above the carbs. It is open at the other end. It is number 2 on page 7-1 of the manual.

Fuel hose is number 3 on page 2-29 of the manual and plugs into the tube that curves up and out (not back, sorry) from the left rear side of the left carb - just behind the trianglar throttle cover.

Have you downloaded the manual yet? These pics are all there.

ok i think im going to put my fuel line hose where it belongs, for some reason i have a hose already on but the other end isnt going into anything...so ill have to take that hose off idk where that hose went, put the hose going from fuel tank onto that spot where it says in the manual. And you said that little black plastic piece in between the carbs is a breather the thing with the ridges on it, and does not need to be touched...hope this workssss

That 'black piece' attaches to a ~1-2 foot hose (already described and pointed out in the manual in my previous post - number 2 on page 7-1) whose other end is open to air. You should find and re-attach the hose, just to keep the path for dirt to enter the carbs long. Could this be the hose you had connected to the fuel inlet mistakenly?
